Going Off List

When considering who to hire for your Catering, keep in mind that Catering is so much more than simply cuisine. All caterers on the Realm Vendor List serve the role of a full service caterer.

“What do you mean by full service” you ask? Don’t worry, we’ll walk you through it.

Full Service Catering Roles

  • Furniture Setup according to your Floor Plan

  • Flip (when hosting ceremony + reception)

  • Food Service

  • Bussing

  • Clean Up

  • Venue Reset

We know—that’s a lot! That’s why we frequently refer to catering as the MVP or backbone of your event. And we know that food and taste are incredibly important—which is why not just anyone is on our list. We pride ourselves on how stacked our list is with incredible vendors.

We vet this All Star list, make sure they’re confident in executing your event plan in accordance with venue policies, and we are in frequent communication with them to make sure everyone is maintaining a level of excellence that Realm values so highly. 

 

how to go off list

  1. Hire a Full Service Caterer

  2. Hire them for the entirety of your contracted venue time 

  3. Confirm that the package that they’re proposing includes all Full Service roles listed above 

  4. Connect them to Realm Event Staff for the onboarding process (as a reminder, going off list incurs an onboarding fee)

*If you don’t hire a full service caterer and/or choose to not contract your food service for the full service catering role, a support staffing add-on is required.

 

*STAFFING ADD-ONS

If you choose to hire a food provider who is any of the following—

  • Not a full service caterer

  • Is not contracted for the entirety of the contracted event time

  • Is a full service caterer, but has not been contracted for the full service catering role 

—You will be required to hire support staff through Realm to cover all furniture setup, cleanup and reset of the venue (roles typically covered by catering).

Support Staff RATES

Staffing add-ons are $35/hour per support staff member, and the amount of staff is based on guest count. In the event of a larger than life event vision, additional staffing may be required. The Realm event team will be able to confirm the number of staff required specific to your event.
